SILVER WING

Melbourne based producer Silver Wing (AKA Michael Hubbard) creates rich, textural songs and soundscapes with a thoroughly timeless quality.

In 2024 SILVER WING dropped his self released debut E.P simply titled VOL. 1. Recorded quickly and intuitively, with a focus on feel and excitement. Later that year he followed up VOL.1 with another 4-song release, VOL. 2, which pushed the sound of the project in a tighter, more focused production style.  This caught the attention of radio DJs across the country.

His follow up track in 2025 titled Forever (which was recently featured in Fox’s ‘Memory Of A Killer’ series)  incorporated elements of dusty 70’s disco & early Detroit house.  It’s also the first Silver Wing track to incorporate vocals, having been a purely instrumental project up until this point. 

The follow up single Night Service is a celebration of the sights and sounds of a city after dark, once again infusing elements of vocal house and disco with modern pop and indie rock stylings. Speaking sbout Night Service, Michael says '“I’ve tried to encapsulate the curiosity and youthful excitement of exploring the city’s night spots and those blurry bus rides home as a youngster”.

It’s A New Day’ draws on a familiar range of influences, from Y2K indie electronica, French pop and disco house, utilising drum machines, pulsing synths and chopped vocal samples, demonstrating the breadth of his musicality and a knack for creating driving rhythms and pop hooks.

New track Yeah, Yeah drops June 2026. 

SILVER WING tracks will appear on his debut forthcoming album due for release later in the year.
