VIERI STURLINI

Born in 1983, Italian Vieri began playing music at around the age of eleven. As a guitarist, he primarily favours classical and acoustic guitars, feeling less drawn to electric instruments. He prefers fingerstyle playing on classical guitar, and while jazz represents his main stylistic reference point, he does not consider himself a jazz guitarist in the strict sense. His musical background spans multiple genres, with a strong influence from rock music.

From a musical perspective, I sought to draw from the various impressions I hold of my home country. Where possible, I referenced the musical traditions of different regions, at times emphasising their more popular and folkloric elements.
