SRI V‍ ‍

Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, Sri V is a lo-fi hip-hop artist with a passion for storytelling.

Outside of music, Sri has a love of cricket that extends across playing competitively at Airport West St Christophers Cricket Club to being an ardent follower of cricket competitions on a local, domestic and international basis.

He takes pride in following a player’s journey to the big stage.

‘We All Love Cricket’ is a song that reflects Sri’s passion for the sport, with each verse crafted from both a competitive cricketer and fan’s perspective.

The song is heavily framed with cricket vernacular throughout, with terms such as ‘creamin’ a straight six’, ‘wickies quick mitts’ and ‘keep it on the carpet’ a reflection of the sport’s unique language.
